(More customer reviews)Although I received the ring quickly, it arrived wedged in a FedEX documents flat envelope, which I thought odd. The official FedEX shipping center would not allow me to return the ring in a similar envelope - I had to use a box. The diamond came with a laminated certificate. The red jewelry case it comes with is definitely not worth $25 - it's probably worth a few bucks at most.
However, the photos on Amazon and which he e-mailed to me were not the same ring I received. The ring pictured here has 6 prongs, whereas the ring I received had only 4. Another problem is that the seller uses the item's title to describe the specs of the ring rather than using the "product specifications box". This led to the ring having different attributes than what I thought. The products specifications box had different stone type, color, and clarity than the title.
Obviously, the ring looks much clearer in these photos. The ring I received was definitely not an I (or even H). It was fairly yellow in color. I can't tell now because instead of listing a completely new item, the seller simply goes in and edits the "title" to reflect the current ring being sold. Right now it lists a "G" color but that is not what mine was listed as when I purchased.
My Stone was an I-J color, which was on the lower-end. Color means a lot in diamonds. This particular stone looked very yellow, so I returned it. I was able to purchase a a bigger stone, with G color, and better clarity for a few hundred more at the local mall. It really shines and my fiancée loves it. The difference is striking. So, I returned this ring. If you do order through Amazon, do not get anything less than D-F quality, just to be sure. You should see absolutley NO YELLOW.
The seller was very professional. He processed the return without a problem and I was credited within a few days. I will also give the seller credit as he is quick to respond to e-mails. In that regard I have no complaints.
